The Bergen County Soil Conservation District Congratulates the 2010 Poster Contest Winners

The topic of this year's contest was "Conservation Habits = Healthy Habitats." Students in 2nd – 12th grades in Bergen County focused on the importance of how good conservation habits create healthy habitats in their own communities and back yards.

Mary Wang is a 1st place winner at the 2010 State Level New Jersey Department of Agriculture-State Soil Conservation Committee Competition

The Bergen County Soil Conservation District congratulates Mary Wang for achieving first place honors in the Grades 4-6 category at the State Level Competition sponsored by the NJ Department of Agriculture-State Soil Conservation Committee.  Mary’s poster will go on to compete among the Nation’s best posters at the 2011 National Association of Conservation Districts contest in Nashville, TN.
